Lentinula edodes (Shiitake)
The classic of classics, the real deal, and one of favourites to eat! Nothing beats fresh Shiitake, especially if harvested at their prime. This is a first offering of a warm-growing strain that we have successfully trialled in Singapore. No air-conditioning required! But that doesn’t you should put them under the sun…
To fruit this species successfully, slap the block on all sides, remove the plastic bag completely, soak the block in cold water for 30mins, drain well and then introduce to fruiting conditions.
